The South East Coast Ambulance Service is continuously researching and developing new technologies and treatments. This is to identify stroke and TIA patients in order to provide better pre-hospital care. The service is also developing a new care delivery pathway. This will fast track patients to specialist services proven to improve mortality and morbidity. The ambulance service works in partnership with multiple primary and acute care organisations to achieve their objective.
