Making the safety of patients everyone's highest priority

The Patient Safety First Campaign for England celebrated early success following the launch at the NHS Confederation Annual Conference 2008 on June 19 with over a quarter of Trusts signing up to the cause; to make patient safety everyone’s highest priority.

At the conference, the Patient Safety First Campaign was cited by David Nicholson as a good example of the service 'looking out, not up'. Since then almost 200 Trusts have signed up to the cause and the Campaign team have been busy promoting the initiative at a range of National Events.

We regularly have members of the Campaign team speaking at events.
