Quality of food: How to get involved

The Welsh Assembly Government is working to improve the quality of food. This is your opportunity to voice your opinion and get involved.

The aim of the strategy is to improve the quality of food consumed in Wales. It has its origins in a National Assembly for Wales motion, which was passed unanimously on the 17 October 2006.

Independent Inquiry into the Processes on Consultation and Implementation of the Reconfiguration of General Surgical Services in Carmarthenshire

On the 1 February 2007 the then Minister for Health and Social Services, Dr Brian Gibbons, announced the setting up of an Independent Inquiry to look into the processes on consultation and implementation of the Reconfiguration of General Surgical Services in Carmarthenshire, in particular the decision to close emergency general surgery services at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.
