This area of the site carries information about teaching and learning: teaching strategy, teaching and learning tips, learning psychology, and links to thousands of resources. New content is being added all the time, so come back regularly for ideas to keep your lessons up to date.
Under Resource materials you will find over 2000 lesson plans, materials on various topics and themes, and information and strategy on delivering each Key Stage of the curriculum. There are also links to museums, charities and other resources in your local community.

All the case studies on TeacherNet have now been collected in one place. The database comprises a wide range of topics, all written by education practitioners. Other new and innovative approaches to raising standards are showcased in the School in Focus area.

Teachers TV was launched in February 2005 with a wealth of information and resources for both new and experienced teachers, including curriculum-based programmes for use in the classroom.
