Hilary Armstrong's reply to the Prime Minister appointment letter

Hilary Armstrong MP has responded to her original appointment letter by the Prime Minister. In the letter the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster updates the Prime Ministers in a number of Cabinet Office areas including social exclusion, better regulation and the third sector.

Three Sectors Summit

Ed Miliband, Minister for the Third Sector, spoke at the Three Sectors Summit alongside the Prime Minister and other government ministers to representatives from public, private and third sector bodies. The Government outlined an enhanced role for the third sector, working in partnership with public and private sectors to deliver services that are more focused around the needs of individuals and communities.
