Rolls-Royce Aerospace UK Awarded MOD engine support contract
The DLO’s Hercules Integrated Project Team has announced the award of a new and innovative support contract, in the order of some £45 million, for the AE2100D3 turboprop aero-engine, which powers the Royal Air Force's fleet of Hercules C-130J aircraft.

New contract to save MoD £29 million and support AS90 guns announced at Europe’s premier defence vehicle show.
British soldiers will get even better logistics support for their AS90 guns and the MOD will save some £29 million over the next five years, thanks to a new partnering arrangement between the MOD and BAE Systems, Minister for Defence Procurement, Lord Drayson announced today.

Top Appointment for Bath Based Army Warrant Officer
Army Warrant Officer Paul Jackson, who works at the Ministry of Defence site at Ensleigh, Bath, has recently been awarded with one of the most prestigious and historic titles in the British Army – that of Army Conductor, of which there are only 17 throughout the whole Army.

MOD Awards £28 Million Partnering Contract to Raytheon Missile Systems
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) yesterday (16 June) signed a partnering contract with Raytheon Missile Systems for the in-service support of air launched munitions to 31 March 2018. The contract will be effective from 1 July 2005 and cover the existing Maverick, Paveway and AMRAAM 120B weapons, with potential to include further weapons as they enter the inventory.

Royal Green Jackets Deploy with Priming Equipment Packs.
Following a request by NATO late on the evening of Friday, 4 March, the UK Spearhead Land Element (SLE), comprising 1st Battalion the Royal Green Jackets, was deployed to Kosovo on Saturday 5 March, supported by Priming Equipment Packs (PEPs).
