Welcome to the home page of the 39th Regiment Royal Artillery


39 Regiment Royal Artillery is equipped with the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and various Surveillance and Target Acquisition assets. The Regiment returned to England from Germany in August 1995 and is now part of the 1st Artillery Brigade. It has a strong training affiliation with the 1st (United Kingdom) Armoured Division based in Germany, with which it has served for a number of years, including operational service during the Gulf War in 1991. MLRS was first used operationally by the Regiment in the Gulf conflict.
