Fixed Term Appointment for 6 months, possibility of extension or permanency. Working 37 hours per week, Suitable for Job Share/ Reduced Hours.
Good administrative staff with excellent customer service skills are vital to the effective operation of the Courts and other offices within the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). Most of the staff within MoJ are employed in administrative roles.
Duties may include:
• Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
• Producing court documents.
• Preparing files for court hearings.
• Answering queries (telephone/written correspondence/face-to-face).
• Serving customers/court users.
• General photocopying and filing.
• Dealing with numerical calculations.
• Accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidelines.
• Post opening.
• Working in a phone based customer service team.
• General ad hoc office duties.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE's (all at Grades A, B or C) and these must include English Language.
Alternatively, candidates may possess an equivalent qualification e.g. NVQ, or have suitable experience within an administrative role.
