Summary of responses to the consultation on the designation of airports

The majority of stakeholders approved the designation of Aberdeen, Bristol, Edinburgh, Luton, Newcastle and Southampton airports as 'schedules facilitated' and the appointment of Airport Coordination Limited (ACL) as the Schedules Facilitator. These changes have been agreed by the Secretary of State and will take effect from 1 February 2008.
