The team consists of 124 military and civilian staff, (technical, financial, commercial and administrative), who provide support to our customers. We are based at Andover and Telford.

To ensure success, we must manage current equipment capabilities in peace, training and war, whilst considering the requirements of the future.
Our roles include, amongst others, the procurement of both consumable and repairable spares, the management of modifications, identification of obsolescence and coordination of base overhaul programmes.
We do this by managing the stock, purchasing spares, repairing the equipment, and modifying and improving it where necessary, maintaining user handbooks and ensuring our equipment is safe to operate. We work with industry to provide this support, and much of our work involves agreeing with our customeers what their requirements are. We set up the contracts and manage costs to meet these needs, ensuring the quality and timeliness of our work.

Mission : “Sustain heavy armour, through life, in order to contribute to success on operations.”

Vision : “Deliver the best possible service to our customers.”
