Upland moorland with pasture/woodland in the valleys, Peak District National Park. 12km of Rights of Way. Open area access on CROW designated areas and within the ‘Managed Acess’ symbol on the OS 1/25,000 Explorer Map.
Heathland with conifer and broadleaved woodlands. Site of Special Scientific Interest. The Woolmer Forest area (south of the A3) has access along Rights of Way at all times and open area access in the ‘Managed Access’ areas. Red Flag restrictions apply to the Danger Area to the north of the A3.
