SUMMARY OF CST MEETING ON 18/19 June 2008

The meeting was held in London and was chaired by John Beddington and Dame Janet Finch. Attended by John Beringer, Geoffrey Boulton, Peter Davies, Alan Gilbert, Wendy Hall, Hermann Hauser, Alan Hughes, Sue Ion, Keith Peters, Raj Rajagopal, Philip Ruffles, Michael Sterling and Kathy Sykes.
CST met Jeremy Heywood, Permanent Secretary PM’s Office to discuss the role of CST and interaction with the PM’s Office. CST made presentations on current work topics such as Science and Society, Water technology, Corporate Venturing and multi disciplinary research. CST agreed to attend the No 10 Commission Board and CST would feedback to No. 10 after each quarterly meeting.
