High Speed Rail (London – West Midlands) Bill: Responses to the Environmental Statement consultation
From the 25th November 2013 to 27 February 2014 we asked for comments on the environmental statement for the high speed rail route for HS2 Phase One.
Consultation responses were analysed by an independent assessor appointed by Parliament, and a summary report (opens in a new window/tab) published to inform the House of Commons’ debate on the scheme at the Second Reading.
This website allows you to view consultation responses from organisations, elected representatives and individuals that did not request confidentiality. Personal details have been redacted from responses from individuals unless they have been disclosed within the body of a response, and are listed by User ID.
Responses are displayed in three different groups:
- Search and view responses from organisations and elected representatives
- Search and view responses from individuals
- Search and view campaign responses
Notes on using this website
Requesting a User ID
If you submitted a response and would like to view it online, then please email HS2 Public Enquiries on HS2Enquiries@hs2.org.uk. You need to provide your full name and address associated with the response – postal address or email address, depending on how the response was submitted – so that it can be verified by HS2 Ltd. You will then be provided with a User ID number to use on the website.
Confidentiality and redaction
The consultation responses listed on this website are those from organisations, elected representatives and individuals that did not request confidentiality. Names and contact details have been redacted from responses from individuals unless they self-declared within the body of their response. The redacted information will appear blacked out in the pdf of a response.
The analysis provided in the consultation summary report includes both the confidential and non-confidential responses.
