Integrated Urgent Care Minimum Data Set (IUC MDS)

Frequency: monthly

Background to the collection

NHS England is moving to fully Integrated Urgent Care services, in which organisations collaborate to deliver high quality, clinical assessment, advice and treatment to shared standards and processes, with clear accountability and leadership. Central to this will be access to a wide range of clinicians; both experienced generalists and specialists. The service will offer advice to health professionals in the community, such as General Practitioners, Paramedics and Emergency Technicians, so that no decision needs to be taken in isolation.

The IUC MDS collects data on the IUC Services across England. It is currently being developed and will over time replace the existing NHS 111 Minimum Data Set. Data will be published on the NHS England website once deemed of sufficient quality.
