H3. Health & Wellbeing Report

At the current time we do report sickness absence and provide monitoring information to the senior management team which enables them to have oversight of organisational absence and also the opportunity to drill down to directorate levels. We are in the process of developing our reporting so that we can provide comparable data and look at the cost of absence.In addition to this we will be providing information to SMT as a result of a short staff survey on health and wellbeing and will then provide follow up on what actions we are going to take and the difference the implementation of any such changes has on the organistion and employees specifically.It is also our intention to hold a health and wellbeing at work day so that we can provide staff with an opportunity to undertake some basic health checks and then we can measure the impact of the day by following these up later in the year.The HR and OD strategy brings health and wellbeing higher up the agenda and it is proposed that we develop our reporting in this area and provide a section on this in our annual report.
