At Longcross Group we are committed to the health & wellbeing of our employees through the roll out of a workplace health & wellbeing programme launched in July 2014 and reviewed on an annual basis.

The programme will raise awareness of health issues through information drives and initiatives such as adopting national campaigns and our own occupational Health Calendar

We will endeavour to engage with our employees and supply chain through a multi-channel approach on a range of health & wellbeing themes on a quarterly basis. The quarters are split as follows:

July through to the end of September - Healthy eating and Sun awareness
October through to the end of December - Chronic conditions (to include
Movember)with colds and flus.
January through to the end of March - Physical activity (including active travel)
and smoking.
April through to the end of June - Substance misuse and emotional wellbeing.

Within the quarters there will be poster campaigns, training (in the form of toolbox talks) and opportunities to attend health checks/flu inoculations schemes throughout the year.

The programme will offer employees and our supply chain information and signposts to useful websites/apps, promoting people to take part in various assessments including the NHS Life Check.
