Please describe how you report on the health and wellbeing of your employees, including annual sickness rates
As an organisation our sickness absence is very low. We support staff to be healthy in the workplace through our policies and health initiatives. We have an OH service and a staff counselling service which provides additional support to staff and new starters when needed. Our cycle to work scheme is well used and we provide parking on site for bicycles and shower facilities for those who chose to commute this way.
We co-ordinate and attend the National Organisational Wellbeing Forum. This is a fantastic opportunity for organisaiton to share practice and experience and has the potential for shared resources.
We have just secured some additional funding to deliver a health and well being programme for 2015/16.
