H9. Domestic Violence

Committed since:

8 December, 2014

Delivery plan:

Submitted: 10 December, 2014

The Treasury is committed to providing support to employees who are victims of domestic violence.

We will offer help, advice and support to individuals, to managers whose members of staff are suffering from domestic violence, also to those who may have concerns about their colleagues.

We plan to provide written guidance for managers that includes the behaviours and signs to be aware of, how to raise the subject with the individual and what to do if a member of staff tells them that they are a victim of domestic violence.

This guidance will be published on our intranet and also communicated through other channels to ensure all employees are aware.

We will provide details of the various sources of internal and external support available to those who are victims of domestic violence and managers who are supporting them.
