A3. Awareness of Alcohol Units, Calories & other information in the Off-trade

LIDL UK GmbH will, in close cooperation with other food retailers and as a member within the Retail Practices Subgroup of the Responsibility Deal Alcohol Network, keep itself informed of the latest updates and proposals to further the consumer awareness of alcohol units, calorie content, NHS drinking guidelines and health harms from excessive alcohol consumption. LIDL UK GmbH will, insofar as is practicable within the operations of the Company, implement those proposals that have been jointly agreed upon within the Retail Practices Subgroup, and action these within the timeframes as jointly agreed upon within Retail Practices Subgroup. The implementation of the POS materials in the alcohol aisle, based on health information from UK Chief Medical Officers, promoted by and as agreed within the Retail Practices Subgroup is the first such example of a successful, cross-company rollout.
