Please describe how you report on the health and wellbeing of your employees, including annual sickness rates
As part of the business performance, sickness absence is incorporated into this and it is discussed as part of the management review meetings on a monthly basis.
Individual managers manage their own staff absences in accordance with the sickness and absence policy.
Express Medicals are trialling new software to allow us to get more accurate recording of absences and percentage per population across the business.
The more knowledge that employees have, the more they are empowered to take responsibility for their own health. We expect to benefit in the longer term from less sickness absence benefit, which is anecdotal evidence currently, but with a formal recording system, this anticipated.
