We have compiled a report into how many products are at risk of not complying with the 2017 salt targets and will be completing an action plan to reduce the salt. As we produce yeast risen bakery products we will need to assess the effect on the fermentation rate by reducing the salt and subsequent quality of our products. We have already engaged suppliers of novel ingredients to identify alternatives to table salt to aid us in reducing sodium content but maintaining product quality.
