We commit to the salt targets for the end of 2012 agreed by the Responsibility Deal, which collectively will deliver a further 15% reduction on 2010 targets. For some products this will require acceptable technical solutions which we are working with our suppliers to achieve, using the 2012 target documentation as our guide.We are implementing training for our chefs and other food production employees to help them understand the impact of reducing the amount of salt added during on-site food preparation. We have moved to a low salt version of some core lines such as baked beans in tomato sauce, gravy powder and stock mixes, delisting others and ensuring that we price match the products as closely as possible to make the change over as positive for all as possible.
