Please provide a link to the latest published information on the health and wellbeing of your employees.
As per our delivery plan, we have included a section for staff updates within our Annual Report, which was produced at the end of our Financial Year. Our report includes details regarding the health and well being of employees including staff absence rate due to sickness. We currently manage our staff sickness through Queen Mary University Human Resources, whereby staff are encouraged to self-report absence days, including a detailed breakdown of the reason for absence. This is then calculated as a rate proportional to the number of days worked in a year. Our annual appraisals and quarterly reviews with staff also offer the opportunity to discuss the health and well being of each CASH employee. If there are any issues that cannot be dealt with within the CASH team, they are immediately brought to the attention of Queen Mary University Human Resources. Links to the NHS website are provided on request for all staff to help manage illness. We utilise the British Heart Foundation guides to healthy living at work, such as keeping fit. Many members of staff enjoy running and cycling during their lunch breaks, and have taken part in a variety of charitable sporting events, including Race for Life and the Richmond half marathon.
