H7. Mental Health and Wellbeing

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS FT proivdes the following services to its staff to support their health and wellnbeing.

Staff Wellbeing Service (SWS) offering a confidential fast track assessment and stepped psychological interventions for staff with mental health conditions based on Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) and NICE guidance. This includes access to a Clinical Psychologist, Cogniitive Behavioural Psychologist, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Counsellor.

The SWS is also piloting the support of an Occupational Therapist to assist staff in returning to work from mental and physical condiitons. This role also includes pro-active mindfulness sessions for staff, including, activities such as, personal resilience, yoga etc.

During 2015/16 as part of the health and wellbeing plan SWS will be offering tailored sessions for work areas with high stress absence or referral rates.

To improve psychological and physical wellbeing the Trust also offers:
- Cycle to work initiatives (home to work miles are paid)
- Cycle to work scheme with Halfords
- Access to discounted gym membership

The Trust has also joined forces with its NHS neighbours and formed a joint-health and wellbeing group and latest intiative includes a pedometer challenge for staff commencing on 23.02.15 for 6 weeks. There are currently 30 teams signed up from Lincolnshire Partnership FT.

The Trust also offers an early access to physiotherapy service to assist with general wellbeing

The Trust is currently revising its health and wellbeing plans for 2015/16 as part of its OD Strategy.
