Ferrovial Agroman Limited are committed to the health and wellbeing of our employees and has an approved strategy for the ongoing delivery of this pledge throughout 2014, this includes but is not limited to:
i) Revision of the company Workplace Health and Wellbeing procedure and health check provision to include an enhancement on the existing health checks provided;
ii) Continued consultation with our supply chain to encourage their adoption and implementation of employee Health and Wellbeing into their businesses, and to take up the pledge to the Public Health Responsibility Deal;
iii) Wellbeing initiatives and campaigns to increase the awareness of the causes of occupational disease and the preventative actions that can be taken to improve the health and wellbeing of people working in our offices and sites;
iv) Provide employees with additional and alternative practical information on health and wellbeing and prompting people to take part in various assessments e.g. NHS LifeCheck.
v) On-going work towards achieving best practice in the prevention of occupational ill-health and management and rehabilitation of ill workers.
vi) Review of the company behavioural safety programme (Looking for an Incident Free Environment - LIFE) to include health behaviours and attitudes.
The strategy is to be fully implemented across Ferrovial Agroman starting in January 2014, via the existing policies and procedures and the Health and Wellbeing Initiatives planned for each quarter of the year.
