The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is keen to promote activities to support healthy lifestyles. A range of tools, information and advice is available to all staff on our Health and Wellbeing website. Physical on-site events and activities are encouraged such as ‘staircase challenges’ by using the stairs rather than the lift and promotion of ‘walking buddies’. On site gym facilities are available at various BIS offices; circuit training, yoga, step training are available dependant on location of office.
