Healthier staff restaurants: we will work with our company catering suppliers to look at enhancing our existing healthy options food range. This will include reducing trans-fats and salt. We will encourage healthier choices by having some form of easy to recognise healthy labelling system.Nutritional advice sheets have been made available in staff resturants and will be reviewed and refreshed in Q1 2012.Catering managers and chefs have welcomed the opportunity to take a more active part in supporting a healthy approach to menu selection and nutrition.New approaches to calorie management are being discussed and food theatre events, to allow chefs to demonstrate easy ways to cook healthily and well, are in planning for 2012.For our shipping staff a new programme has been implemented. All fleet catering superintendents have nutritional training. This enables actively engagement with chefs to develop a wider range of healthy eating options.
