H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Kraft Foods in the UK is committed to providing healthier staff restaurants for employees. We already provide a wide range of heathier options in all channels and offer fruit and vegetables in all our staff restaurants. Water is also freely and visibly available at all times for all employees across our sites.Future plans We are currently working with our catering suppliers to put together an action plan to include calorie and nutritional labelling in our staff restaurants (see F1: Out of Home Calorie Labelling)In addition, our employee health programme Fit for Life will be working on a series of initiatives, in partnership with our contract caterers including:Evaluation and analysis of all the food currently available in our staff restaurantsMonthly focus on a different aspect of diet and nutrition to support understanding of a balanced diet through posters in restaurants and short information leaflets on tablesFood calculator: an online application available to employees and their family members providing a detailed report on the employees diet after entering a four-day food diary.These initiatives will be launched at our Bournville site in December 2011 and will be extended across all sites by the end of 2012.
