We will continue to:discuss absence levels and reasons for absence at Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Senior Management Team meetingsinclude a section on employee health and well being within HSE reports and our website the principles of chronic disease management into our HR policies to ensure that our employees are optimally managed with flexible and reasonable adjustmentsreview reasonable adjustments guidance which will encourage managers and their staff to record and review reasonable adjustments regularly to ensure they continue to support the individual appropriately in the in partnership with our Occupational Health provider to ensure they make the best possible recommendations for adjustments which support the health condition in the with EQUAL (HSE Disability Network) to ensure a fully inclusive and accessible approach to all of our internal and external processes, practices and policies.offer consistent advice, guidance and support for managers of staff with mental health conditionsmonitor and review Display Screen Equipment (DSE) self assessment rates to ensure compliance of DSE regulationsreview our HR guidance to promote easier access and supportreview pan-government initiatives to ensure HSE embraces best practiceprovide input to pan-government initiatives to share best practiceWe plan to:review our internal stress intranet site to ensure it is accessible and supportive. We will ensure that it provides advice and guidance for managers and staff including how to identify stress and deal with stress in the workplace, including guidance on stress risk assessment and investigationpromote the importance of immediate referral to Occupational Health where mental health and musculoskeletal conditions are identifiedincrease managers awareness and capability of acting independently and undertaking effective attendance management
