H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
In the last year, East Cheshire Trust has delivered the following:-
Re-Shape Weight Management programme developed in partnership with the Trust Dietetic team Scoping exercise to determine catering channels was put on hold due to lack of resource/time constraints
A health needs assessment was developed and issued to the Trust Corporate Team in August 2014. As a result of this, healthy eating hints and tips plus signposting to interactive resources and websites were included on Wellbeing Direct. Hits to the site increased by 30% as a result of the initiative.
In the coming year the Trust will:-
Run a 12 month rolling campaign on healthy eating, under the national Change 4 Life banner
Rolling campaign on raising alcohol awareness in staff
Roll out the Re-SHape Weight Management programme, as developed with the Trust Dietetic team
Explore the potential for running Emotional Eating workshops in house, to facilitate staff attendance
