H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
Gather & Gather are committed to providing a balanced approach to food and beverages across all of Lloyds Banking Group's restaurants. They have worked closely with their supply chain to ensure that none of the products contain artificial trans fats. In addition fruit is always available for purchase either whole or in pre-cut portions. The provision of calories on menu items is something G&G have been working on and will be more prominent in the next 12 months although it will only be on selected menu items. Where foods are plated on the request of customers, our staff are informed how much to serve, however on self-service counters this is more challenging therefore we do provide serving utensils appropriate to the serving size we would recommend. Through our marketing we provide educational material around health and food which our customers can read in order to broaden their knowledge.
