The Health and Well-being strategy is to encourage staff to take personal responsibility for their own health and to become public health advocates and credible role models for our patients. The strategy is categorised into five priority areas: Physical Health Activities; Psychological Health Activities; Physical Activities; Healthy Eating; Work Life Balance.We pledge to: Create a branding and strap line for our Health and Well-being programme.Develop the intranet pages to ensure that up-to-date information is provided on the services and initiatives which the Trust offers.Develop educational information for staff to support their health and well being.Provide regular updates on the delivery of our Health and Well-being strategy to the Workforce Committee.Continue to report sickness absence statistics on a regular basis and to ensure that the reason for absence is recorded.Provide an annual report on return on investment of our health and well being initiatives.
