H3. Health & Wellbeing Report

Please describe how you report on the health and wellbeing of your employees, including annual sickness rates In order to effectively meet our commitment to this pledge, throughout 2014/2015 we have been working hard to develop our internal reporting structures to allow us to effectively report on and manage our people data. This work has been complex and thorough and will be completed in May 2015. Once in place all our Sectors and Units will receive monthly ‘Profile Packs’ which will give them information on their people including sickness/absence and long-term sick information amongst other people data including labour turnover, average length of service etc. These reports will allow the business to more effectively identify strengths and opportunities in the business and be able to take a more proactive approach to the management of health. We will also use this data to benchmark our performance against other organisations and develop plans and strategies to improve our levels of absence across the business. Our strategy for reporting our absence externally is to include absence stats into our Corporate Responsibility Report as part of our People Pillar. The report which is currently in the process of being finalised will be launched in the summer of 2015. When the report has been launched a link will be added to this update.
