1 January, 2013
Submitted: 30 April, 2015
Through your physical activity pledges you will be working with employees, customers/consumers and/or local communities. For each group (as applicable) please describe the specific activities or projects you have undertaken over the past year.
For example, employee incentive schemes to promote physical activity, awareness raising activities or improvements to facilites to promote active travel.
Molson Coors has committed to raising awareness and providing opportunities for all employees to be more physically active. OH and BUPA conducted health assessments in 2014 to establish health needs across all sites and departments and have addressed the recognised health needs in their health and wellness plan 2015. One of the main aims for 2015 is to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and premature death in our working population, in particular those less active groups and taking into consideration the range of ages in our workforce. We are tailoring health education and sporting opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our working population and to include all abilities. We are focusing on encouraging employees with a range of capabilities to adopt a physically and mentally active lifestyle, enhance mobility and balance, as well as reduce the risk of injury during their work activities, this means looking at the different sporting interests of our employees including more sedentary sports that still improves general health and wellbeing as well as the more physically challenging sports. Our Environment, Health and Safety team has a robust care system in place that is integral with all management and employees to prevent accidents, promote good health and safe behavior and minimize injuries by taking care in physical activities. Our exercise and weight loss challenges aim to encourage those who are not already active to enjoy a small challenge and build their enthusiasm in the subject.
For example, supporting/sponsoring local physical activity programmes, promoting physical activity to customers through website campaigns or in-store materials.
For example, support for community-based physical activity programmes (such as funding, sponsorship or other promotion activity), working with local partners to engage communities is physical activity opportunities.
Please estimate the number of people that (a) participated in your community programmes:
Please estimate the number of people that (b) were more active as a result of participating:
Please explain how you arrived at these estimates (if unknown, please explain why):
Please indicate which of the following demographic groups within the local community that you have worked with to promote increased participation in physical activity:

We would be interested to know if your pledge activity over the last year has delivered a measurable increase in participation in physical activity. If so, please describe and provide an estimate of the level of increase and how you measured this. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
