We intend to deliver our pledge for 2014/2015 by ensuring that our digital screens prominently display messages that are designed to positively encourage responsible consumption of alcohol. For example, we are currently displaying an anti drink-driving message for the Department for Transport and we have also offered free messaging to the NHS. We shall also ask our advertiser customers to include references to Drink Aware within their adverts. We have adopted the alcohol advertising standards of both the Advertising Standards Association and also the Portman Group in determining whether or not an advert should be displayed on our screens. Our advertising also includes adverts for soft drinks which are positioned as an alternative to alcoholic drinks.
