Please describe how you report on the health and wellbeing of your employees, including annual sickness rates
For 2015, Inver House Distillers aims to continue monitoring absence figures on a monthly basis and continue publishing the figures for all employees to see and discuss openly. This encourages understanding of absence and wellbeing across the company. We have a new employee assistance programme in place for 2015 where employees can get informal, free, confidential support on a number of wellbeing issues, from money problems, to health issues.
We will continue to maintain a high level of compliance with health surveillance and medicals for all warehouse and manual workers teams.
We will continue through our social committee and health and wellbeing weeks to promote healthy living and create a culture of health and wellbeing within the business where it becomes the norm rather than once a year.
