The Charter focuses on 3 key areas - leadership, culture and communication - where even small steps can make a big difference to the health and wellbeing of the organisation.
The London Healthy Workplace Charter is an assessment framework that provides a series of standards for workplaces to meet under key headings:- Corporate support, Health and Safety, Attendance management, Physical activity, Healthy eating, Smoking cessation, Alcohol and Substance use and Mental health and Well-being.
There are 3 levels against each standard: commitment, achievement and excellence, the Trust is currently working towards the excellence standard and going for verification in June 2015.
