Danone's mission is to bring health through food and drinks to a maximum number of people in the UK.Our priority is quality nutritious products whilst helping people and our planet stay healthy. Danone run two corporate social responsibility programmes in schools which support its commitment to play a role in addressing poor nutrition and sedentary lifestyle amongst children in a sustainable way.Eat like a champEat like a champ is an educational programme aimed at helping children to understand the benefits of eating and drinking well and keeping fit by encouraging them to adopt the same healthy lifestyles as the champions they admire. We work together with primary schools to provide, through an active learning programme, an inspiring experience which aims to educate and bring to life the idea of healthy eating and exercising. Diversity dance troupe are the role models endorsing the campaign and inspiring year 5 pupil to eat and dance as they do.In 2012, eat like a champ will be run in 500 schools in the UK with an ambition to scale up to higher number of primary schools year on year. We have decided to partner with local schools in our community, will send danone volunteers to help schools bring this programme alive. For more information please visit http://www.eatlikeachamp.co.ukDanone Nations CupDanone Nations Cup is the largest global football tournament in the world for kids aged 10-12, involving more than 2.5 million children and 40 countries. The campaign emphasises the importance of regularly exercising and keeping fit in the development of a healthy lifestyle. Danone UK have entered into an exciting partnership with the English Schools' Football Association (ESFA) to run the competition in over 650 secondary schools in England for under 21 boys. Over 15,000 children play in this competition building up to England final.
