Throughout the year we have offered sportpark employees the chance to get active and enjoy discounted swim sessions on Thursday and Friday lunchtimes at Loughborough pool.By working together with Loughborough University to run British Gas swimfit sessions at a reduced price of just £2.50 per session. The ASA active workplace scheme is a flexible tool to help organisations to encouraging employees to increase activity levels and reap the benefits this provides for their physical and psychological well-being.The scheme is designed to cater for everyone, whatever his or her level of fitness or standard of swimming, even those who cannot swim. This a preventive approach to mental and physical health and muscular-skeletal conditions, potentially reducing absence from work. The ASA's South West North East regional teams have engaged their local NHS Trust to recommend swimming as a way to improve employees physical and mental health.
