H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
We continue to encourage our employees to eat healthy by ensuring we work with our catering suppliers to provide a variety of healthy eating options at our sites. Some sites with Vending machines have trialled healthier alternatives over the past year and many offices now provide employees with fruit baskets.
Some of our catering providers have produced awareness campaigns around healthy eating and nutrition. This Material has been displayed on the walls and on tables in staff restaurants. This has been further more supported by material produced as part of the Wellbeing Programme and aimed at educating employees through our quarterly themes. Q1 - 2013 was all about feeling healthier in the inside and looked at immune boosting and super foods.
We will continue to keep working with our suppliers to improve the variety and amount of healthier options available and where possible provide labelling for these.
