Centre for Central Banking Studies (CCBS)

The Bank of England’s Centre for Central Banking Studies (CCBS) acts as a global forum for central bank and regulatory authority experts throughout the world to exchange views and share best practice in central bank policies and operations.

Set up in 1990, the Centre supports the Bank’s mission by promoting monetary and financial stability internationally. Central banks and regulatory authorities face common challenges and the need to cooperate and work together continues to be as great as ever.

We run an extensive programme of events and training courses both in London and abroad that reflects the Bank’s full range of policy responsibilities. Our courses encourage frank and thought-provoking discussions and provide opportunities for participants to share insights and obtain broader perspectives in their areas of expertise.
