2011 Census Outputs Working Group

The group first met in March 2009 to provide a broad based body to contribute expert data user’s views on output from the 2011 Census.

The group acts as a non decision making body, providing advice on aspects of the 2011 Census output project such as the output strategy and user requirements for products (statistical and metadata). Other aspects addressed by this group cover the research and development of outputs including disclosure control, census geography, commissioned outputs, internet dissemination and licensing.
The group also acts as an educational body by informing inexperienced and inexpert users and is used as a mechanism to improve understanding of census outputs across the user community.
