In this release

This is an interactive product bringing together different migration related data sources to allow users to compare indicators of migration at local authority level. The suite includes data on long-term international and internal migration flows used to calculate population turnover rates, short-term international migration inflows, non-UK born population, non-British population, migrant National Insurance Number (NINo) allocations, migrant GP registrations and births to non-UK born mothers. The latest data available is for 2014.

What’s new in this release – August 2015

All Indicators have been updated with the latest data for 2013 and 2014

  • Non-UK born and non-British nationality estimates have been revised in light of the Annual Population Survey reweighting following the 2011 Census

  • Population estimates, international and internal flow estimates have been unrounded

  • ONS population estimates for 2013 corrected to address the previously announced error in the distribution of the foreign armed forces (FAF) special population presented in the last population estimates release published 26 June 2014

  • Births to non-UK born mothers has been added to the suite of data
