Unpaid Care Expectancies across NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups, England 2010-12
11-Jun-2014This story is the first to estimate Unpaid Care Expectancy (UCE) at ages 15, 50 and 65, by the newly established NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in England for the period 2010-12. It expands the analysis to include the ratio of the number of persons with pronounced disability to the number of unpaid carers providing 50 or more hours per week and the relationship between these populations to assess relative unmet care needs.

The aim of the survey was to assess experiences of care in the last three months of life for adults who had died between 1st January 2012 and 30th April 2012.
