This statistical bulletin presents results from the first national survey of bereaved people in England, 2011, at area deprivation level. The aim of the survey was to assess experiences of care in the last three months of life for adults who died in England between November 2010 and June 2011, and to allow comparison of care in different settings, for different conditions and in different geographies.
