On Thursday 27th November the Smith Commission Report was launched at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.
In October 2014 Lord Smith travelled around Scotland as part of his programme of engagement with the Scottish public and civic organisations. 25 events took place and over 230 organisations attended. All photographs by Alex Hewitt.

On Friday 17th October Lord Smith attended events hosted by Young Scot, University of Stirling and Stirling Enterprise.
On Thursday 23rd October Lord Smith attended events at Dundee’s Double Tree Hotel and Abertay University.
On Friday 24th October several organisations hosted events in Glasgow including Scottish Renewables, Children in Scotland, Scottish Tourism Association, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations and Scottish Council of Voluntary Organisations.
On Friday 24th October Lord Smith travelled to Inverness where events were hosted by the Scottish Tenant Farmers Association, The Calman Trust and the Scottish Council for Development and Industry.

The Smith Commission held a public evidence session at the Scottish Parliament on 13 November where the political representatives heard from 28 civic institutions and had the chance to question them on the arguments and analysis underpinning the submissions.
