Transcript of the Hearing 16 December 2013

           1                                       Monday, 16 December 2013

           2   (10.30 am)

3   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  Right we'll have the cameras off

4       then, please, and the jury in.  Thank you.

5                  (In the presence of the jury)

6   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  Very good to see you, members of the

7       jury.  What happens now, as before, I will ask the jury

8       bailiffs to be sworn, firstly.

           9                      (Jury bailiffs sworn)

10   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  Thank you both very much.

11           Right then, members of the jury, if you would like

12       then to leave and carry on the work that you were doing

          13       last week.

14           Thank you very much.  Cameras off.

15      (The jury retired to continue their deliberations at

          16                            10.36 am)

17   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  I do not believe there is anything

18       that needs to be aired at this stage so I will just rise

          19       and await the jury.

          20   (10.37 am)

          21                      (The court adjourned)

          22   (4.23 pm)

23   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  Right, thank you very much.  I will

24       ask for the cameras then to be turned off and I will ask

25       for the jury then to come back into court.

1                  (The jury returned into court)

2   THE ASSISTANT CORONER:  Thank you very much, members of the

3       jury.  You have clearly been working away hard, we have

4       not heard from you all day, which is a very good sign

5       that hard work is being done.  So thank you very much

           6       for that.

7           Remember the three warnings that I gave you last

8       time that you separated from the courts to go home for

9       the evening -- I say go home, you do not have to go

          10       home, all I want is to make sure you come back tomorrow;

11       where you go now is a matter entirely for yourselves.

12           What is important for you to please remember is not

13       to talk with anyone else about the case, not now even to

14       talk amongst yourselves about the case until you are

15       back here again tomorrow morning at 10.30, and clearly

16       not to do any other work or Internet searches or

17       anything like that to do with this case at all.  So

18       those warnings continue in the same way, please.

19           What I will ask you now to do is to leave us and be

20       ready to come back into court at 10.30 tomorrow morning

21       and then the jury bailiffs will be sworn out in the same

22       way you heard this morning.

23           So thank you very much.  If you would like to leave

24       us now then.  10.30 tomorrow.

          15   (4.27 pm)

16        (The Inquest adjourned until 10.30 am on Tuesday,

          17                        17 December 2013)
