Roydon Common NNR

Roydon Common is the largest remaining area of heathland and valley mire in the county and comprises a mixture of dry and wet heath, valley mire, rough pasture and woodland habitats.

Where: Norfolk

Main habitat: Lowland heath

Management: Although most NNRs are managed by Natural England, some are wholly or partly managed by other bodies approved by Council, under Section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Roydon Common NNR is owned and managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
