The Home Access programme helped provide low-income families with access to a computer and the internet. The programme operated within a limited budget and timeframe, with grants awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. From January 2010 the Home Access programme helped more than 270,000 low-income families get access to a computer and the internet to improve learning. The programme closed in June 2010. If you received a computer package through the Home Access programme and experienced any issues or need technical support, please contact your supplier. If your 12-month internet subscription has run out and you wish to pay for further internet access, you can do so either by contacting your existing internet service provider (ISP) to renew your subscription, or taking on a new subscription with another internet service provider.
