The new Bacteriology Reference Department is made up of the Respiratory and Vaccine Preventable Bacteria Reference Unit, the Sexually Transmitted Bacteria Reference Unit, the Gastrointestinal Bacteria Reference Unit and the Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare Associated Infections Reference Unit.
